The Super Bowl is a day of celebration that brings families and friends together like nothing else, but Toyota enhanced this celebration with unity and diversity.
During Super Bowl Sunday, a diverse group of celebrities, athletes and social rock stars from different walks of life came together – many via social media – to share their exuberance for the big game. The activation, executed by Conill, on behalf of Toyota, celebrated sports and unity as seen in Toyota’s Super Bowl ad, “One Team.”
Health coach Massy Arias (@massy.arias), actor and comedian Timothy Delaghetto (@timothydelaghetto) and DJ Deorro (@deorro) led the festivities during a special viewing party in Los Angeles. The trio created content and shared their reactions to Toyota’s uplifting in-game commercials all while enjoying the game-day action with other guests, including members of the media.
Numerous athletes and other celebrities also chimed into the social repartee in celebration of America’s biggest sporting event. “Our team set out to organically elevate the conversation around Toyota’s inclusive message of unity, expressed through sports,” said Conill Chief Creative Officer Diego Yurkievich. “The content produced and ensuing interaction among our influencers, guests and social media communities perfectly captured the essence of the Super Bowl experience.”
