Congratulations to the global ambassadors of Latin Rock, Fher Olvera, Alex “El Animal” González, Sergio Vallín and Juan Calleros, pioneers in the music industry with over 40-million albums sold, four The GRAMMYsand eight Latin GRAMMYs award, selling out arenas across the world. Maná is the first Mexican Rock Band to receive a Star on the walk of fame.
In addition to recognizing the musical trajectory, Maná was also recognized for the amazing humanitarian work they do, with the Selva Negra Foundation (Fundación Ecológica Selva Negra) one of Latin America’s leading voices for environmental protection, and for being goodwill ambassadors for The Food and Agriculture Organization of theUnited Nations.
Maná was recognized with the 2,573rd star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame today Wednesday, February 10, 2016 at 11:30 a.m. See televised ceremony at www.walkoffame.com.
