Friday September 26th, LP played a sold out show to a euphoric crowd at The Roxy Theater. She opened with “Free to Love” from her new album, Forever For Now and performed eight songs from the new album to thrilled cheers from the audience.
Once she got to her acclaimed hit, “Tokyo Sunrise,” the crowd went absolutely wild as they watched her vocal performance reach new heights. Before she performed “Levitator” she dedicated it to her girlfriend, Tamzin Brown, who was at a loss for words and reminded her of how lucky they are to have each other. Following this emotional exchange, she transitioned into “Savannah” and “Forever for Now,” from her latest album. She then pleased the crowd by walking directly into the audience to serenade them with “Someday.”
This song culminated the show and left the crowd chanting for an encore. She returned with a rendition of The Beatles’ “Something,” which the crowd sang along with her. LP closed the show with her hit “Into the Wild.” After the show, she had a meet and greet with fans and made sure not to leave until she had signed every piece of merchandise and took multiple pictures with each one.
