Throughout the night as she continued singing, Natalia Laforcade explained her inspiration as to how she composed her music. She is the lead female nominee for the Latin Grammy this year holding 5 nominations. Just as Natalia.L , Julieta Venegas performed a series of songs for the audience. Julieta is nominated for 3 Grammys ! Through such a career as musicians there work is recognized globally. The Latin Grammy Acoustic Session was a night full of talent and an opportunity to get a taste of the music being celebrated and of course appreciated. Music is a form of expression and entertainment and both of these talented women know how to do so. The ambiance was wonderful with a crowd enjoying their performances. Everyone is anxious for November to come around and see who wins their nominations, but as the down to earth Natalia Forcade said, ” Simplemente estoy disfrutando del paseo!” In other words, “I’m simply enjoying the ride.” Best of luck to these amazing women !
