On Tuesday Juley 19th the Skirball Cultural Center turned into the perfect runway to present L.A. Swim Week 2016 for its second year. The one day event began with a vibrant pop-up shop selling swimwear and beauty products by over 20 vendors. Followed by the Red Carpet and fashion show which showcased colorful and diverse designs by Eleni Armaos, Yolanda Magnum, Leonisa Beachwear, Palo Rosa, T8C, Glam Clothing, Duskii, Nessy Swimwear and Pauleth Rincon.
As executive producer, Connie Borja said “The meaning of LASW is to bring together designers of different cultures.” L.A. Swim Week (LASW) was founded for the purpose of providing a sustainable platform to increase engagement and foster connections between national and international designers, premier retailers and top fashion media. The exclusive event showcases the world’s innovative lingerie and swimwear collections from the industry’s emerging, iconic and powerful luxury brands that revolutionize and liberate fashion.
