La Jardin is one of my new favorites places in Santiago. Located in Barrio Italia, La Jardin is like a moving sculpture that comes from an abandoned place reutilizing materials and waste from the city. This concept was created by the british artist Tony Hornecker who started his first local called “The Pale Blue Door” in London. The same idea has been recreated in different places such as Valparaiso, Buenos Aires and Berlin.

La Jardín es uno de mis nuevos lugares favoritos en Santiago. Localizado en el Barrio Italia La Jardín nace como una escultura viva en un lugar abandonado reutilizando materiales y desechos de la ciudad. Concepto creado por el artista británico Tony Hornecker, quien comenzó con su primer restaurant “The Pale Blue Door” en Londres. Esta misma idea se ha recreado en diferentes lugares tales como Valparaíso, Buenos Aires y Berlín.
loved the gracious, vintage and interactive aspect of this place. I am hooked by every single detail, tables with grass on, flying bicycles and old stuff that make you feel nostalgic. An harmonious rupture that invites you to interact with the environment. A great “upcycling” experience :- )

Amé el aspecto lúdico, vintage e interactivo de este lugar. Cada producto puesto en escena crea una sorpresa, mesas con pasto, bicicletas flotantes y cosas antiguas que generan nostalgia. Una ruptura armoniosa que te invita a interactuar con el ambiente. Toda una experiencia “upcycling” :- )
