Grand Park’s Winter Glow
Grand Park’s Winter Glow showcases L.A.’s unique holiday spirit with new month-long, immersive, free nighttime light attraction featuring installations by local artists. Playing off the tradition of visiting neighborhoods to see holiday décor, Grand Park’s Winter Glow transforms the park into a whimsical beacon that draws Angelenos downtown to interact with art in an accessible and easy-to-find location. With 19 curated large-scale interactive light installations featuring displays designed by L.A.-based artists along with those designed by the Grand Park team, the park will glow with the latest in light and projection technology alongside its traditional holiday décor, including the L.A. County Christmas Tree, the Grand Park pink light tree and the Grand Park menorah.
The only free exhibit of its kind in the area is open to the public from December 1 – 25, 2018, offering park goers the opportunity to gather, enjoy the holiday season and celebrate the wonder and magic of art as it illuminates Downtown L.A.
