The music playing by L.A.’s best DJs and bands performing simultaneously on two major stages, included headliners Pan Afrikan Peoples Arkestra with DJ Pauli The PSM, Banda Las Angelinas, Thee Sinseers and DJs from Gasolina and Cherry Poppin’, featuring the new “Boogie Down Dance Zone” for families and children to enjoy Top 40 hits selected by DJ Cool Era.
In addition to the amazing music selection Grand Park + The Music Center’s N.Y.E.L.A. featured more than 40 delicious food trucks, all while the signature 3-D video projection and light show played on the west side of City Hall. The projection was designed by L.A.-based digital innovation studio yU+co with the theme of “Who is L.A. 2020?” which featured joyful and timeless images of the beautiful Angeleno community.
