International Fair For Music Professionals
The international music industry will once again reunite in Guadalajara, Mexico from May 24 to 26 for the 4th edition of the International Fair of Music Professionals (FIMPRO)
With the objective of supporting and strengthening cultural industries specifically in the musical industry sector, Cultura UDG will hold once again “The International Music Fair” (FIMPRO) from May 24 to 26 in Guadalajara, Mexico, and is calling all musicians to apply for the chance to be selected to showcase your project or band to national and international professionals. The deadline to submit your application is this coming February 4th at 11:59 PM. Registration will be carried out through a registration form available on the website: www.fimguadalajara.mx.
Musicians and / or musical groups that develop their work linked to Urban popular music (rock, hip hop, electronic, jazz, pop, tropical, fusions and new trends), traditional music and classical music can apply. The members must be of legal age, originating in any country of the American continent and have a musical project with at least one publication, either EP or LP (physical or digital). The requirements to be considered is to have fully completed online registration form on https://www.fimguadalajara.mx.
Cultura UDG has appointed a jury made up of a group of national and international experts with experience and recognized trajectory in sectors of the music and scenic arts, who will evaluate the proposals and will issue the pertinent judgments and, if considered necessary, will be able to declare annulment.
This year the Jury is composed by Musician and music producer Kiko Dinucci(Brasil), musician and music producer Antonio “Toy Machete” Hernández(México), journalist and radio and TV personality Diego Londoño(Colombia),Content Coordinator in Reactor Radio Olivia Luna (Mexico) and the Director of Festival Cosquín Rock José Palazzo (Argentina).
FIMPRO is an organized platform of socialization, information and training where artists, promoters, representatives of record labels and event organizers of big festivals, have the opportunity to interact, and share ideas and experiences about the music business. FIMPRO promotes the link between the participants and the networks who create and share information, with the goal of being the music industry’s epicenter of development and evolution.
The FIMPRO encounter seeks to position itself as a platform for promotion, commercial space and a meeting point to make agreements and business between local creators and organizers of national and international events. During 3 days, cultural entrepreneurs from all over the world will be attentive to the cultural offer, with the aim to identify products that satisfy their strategic needs and negotiate the conditions of their diffusion in national and international markets.
