Downtown Los Angeles Concert Series, gets to the heart of the emerging LatinX soundscape
Award winning Latin Alternative radio music program Travel Tips for Aztlan hosted by Mark Torres has partnered with Civic Center Studios to bring important artistry from the Latino Community to both a live audience and the KPFK 90.7 FM airwaves.
Thanks to a grant from the Eastside Arts Initiative and the California Community Foundation, we are happy to announce three events that will feature the great emerging talent of our East Los Angeles Latino neighborhoods.

Dorian Wood (10:10pm) Born in Echo Park, California, Dorian studied at the Conservatorio de Castella in Costa Rica. His cabaret style presentation is dark, haunting, liberating and powerful. Born in Toluca Mexico, then making her home in the United States as a young girl, Nancy Sanchez’ music is a reflection of two cultures.
