Urban music leading artist Daddy Yankee, world renowned reggaeton singer Don Omar, and salsa singer/songwriter Victor Manuelle will perform at the 2016 Billboard Latin Music Awards “Billboard Duets,” joining previously announced performers Nicky Jam and Banda Sinaloense MS de Sergio Lizarraga. Confirmed presenters at the award show include: “Caso Cerrado” host Dr. Ana Maria Polo; lead sportscaster Andres Cantor; “¡Que Noche con Angelica y Raul!” host Angelica Vale; “El Señor de los Cielos” actresses Carmen Aub and Fernanda Castillo; “Gran Hermano” host Giselle Blondet”; “Al Rojo Vivo”host Maria Celeste Arraras; Mexican singer, actress, and upcoming host of the new season of “La Voz Kids” Patricia Manterola; and Victoria’s Secret bombshellAdriana Lima. The longest running and most prestigious awards show in the Latin music world will be produced and broadcast live by TELEMUNDO on Thursday, April 28 at 8pm/7c from the BankUnited Center at the University of Miami in Florida, and will be preceded at 7pm/6c by the acclaimed red carpet preshow “La Alfombra de Premios Billboard.”

With several European tours under his belt, Latin urban superstar Daddy Yankeecontinues to prove his dominance of the genre. The beloved singer will be back as a Coach on the new season of TELEMUNDO’s “La Voz Kids” (The Voice Kids), scheduled to air in the spring. With 33 entries, he holds more top 10s on the Billboard Latin Rhythm Airplay chart than any other artist. Most recently, he topped the chart with “Vaiven” for one week in January 2016. With six No. 1s on the Top Latin Albums chart, no other urban or reggaeton act has scored more. He is a finalist this year for Latin Rhythm Songs Artist of the Year, Solo.

Don Omar is reggaeton’s undisputed international superstar. His 2005 anthem “Reggaeton Latino” became one of the style’s first genuine crossover hits. Ever since his 2006 participation in “The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift,” he has continued to appear in Hollywood blockbuster movies, increasing his worldwide fan base. He holds the longest running No. 1 single on the Billboard Latin Rhythm Airplay chart with “Danza Kuduro,” which spent 29 weeks at the top in 2010-2011. He is tied with Daddy Yankee for the most No. 1s on the Latin Rhythm Albums chart. Don Omar is a two-time finalist this year for Latin Rhythm Albums Artist of the Year, Solo while his latest album “Last Don II” is a finalist for Latin Rhythm Album of the Year.

Victor Manuelle emerged as a leading voice among the generation of New York salsa performers who rose to prominence in the mid-’90s. Throughout his career he has explored genre fusions and successful collaborations with non-traditional salsa singers. A Billboard Tropical chart veteran, Manuelle has earned 26 No. 1s on the Tropical Songs chart, second all-time among all artists. He earned two No. 1s in 2015, with “Agua Bendita” and “No Quería Engañarte.” Victor Manuelle is up for Tropical Songs Artist of the Year, Solo and Tropical Albums Artist of the Year, Solo. “No Quería Engañarte” vies for Tropical Song of the Year while his album “Que Suenen Los Tambores” competes for Tropical Album of the Year.

The Billboard Latin Music Awards are the only awards that honor the most popular albums, songs, and performers in Latin music, as determined by the actual sales, radio airplay, streaming and social data that informs Billboard’s weekly charts.
