And officially Posada season has begun. Special thanks to BMI for the invite to their Posada en Rosa with special acoustic performances by beautiful and talented chicas that united their talent for a great cause, the untiring and always solidary, St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.

Anna Sophia was the first one to hit the stage and shared with us her song about boys, then came super sweet Ilza Rosario who sang about the pain that society is going through and while at it hipnotized us behind the piano. It was Alejandra Alberti’s turn to share her pink vibe with the audience and sang a song titled “Quizas Sera”, song that she wrote for the Mexican trio, Pandora. Vanessa Zamora shared with us her powerful song “Este Final”, and then came Alih Jey accompanied by Mitre that performed their first co-written song.

Also present, the innovative creations of Chongo Head that presented us t-shirts with unique designs, a super interesting fact is that the creator of this cool concept is 12 year-old, Soraya, definitely someone I would like to follow. The yummies were provided by Viva Los Cupcakes. What is a conchita (sweet Mexican pastry) at a posada without a delish cup of hot chocolate, courtesy of Mi Kaffe with headquarters in Pacoima.

It was a posada muy a la BMI with great music, great friends, but most importantly a great opportunity to grow and support a great cause.
