The 6-day experiential adventure of a lifetime Tmrw.Tday Culture Fest gears up for its second year on the stunning coast of Negril, Jamaica, announcing Phase I of the 2018 Lineup. Expertly constructed by leaders of the conscious movement, this May 1 – 6, 2018 will feature a beautiful mix of festival mainstays and all new experiences for wanderers to explore, cultivating a transformative week through the power of music, wellness, sustainability, plant therapies and singular experiences.
Returning as one of the festival’s marquee events is the Reggae Revival Concert curated by Island Records’ Label Founder, Owner of The Caves Hotel and Official Tmrw.Tday Reggae Ambassador Chris Blackwell, who will be delivering Island Vibez all week long. Joining Blackwell to push the revival will be the World’s King of Dancehall BEENIE MAN, Kingston’s Dub Club Founder Gabre Selassie, inaugural TT artist Teflon Zinc Fence and revolutionary lyricist Kabaka Pyramid who blends the power, energy and melody of Reggae with the lyricism of Hip Hop. Culminating with a massive Reggae Concert hosted by emcee, vibes master and mixmaster ZJ Sparks, this conscious music platform will take place across several key venues in Negril, boasting incredible homegrown talent best known for pushing a pivotal movement in Jamaica’s rich musical history.
Seamlessly blending conscious and dynamic rhythms of Reggae, Dub, and House music, Tmrw.Tday guides attendees on the ultimate musical journey. Building on last year’s vibez by bringing back Crew Love for another groovy showcase, the foundation of Tmrw.Tday’s electronic sounds will be laid down by Wolf + Lamb, and Lonely C of Soul Clap. Joining Crew Love this year are the creative masterminds behind international party phenomenon Flying Circus AudioFly, whose experimental sound has scintillated electronic music fans across the world for 13 years and counting. These artists will unite the best of house music’s global scene to present a showcase of soulful beats that moves hearts, elevating attendees into another dimension of space, sound and timelessness.
Outside of the realm of music, Tmrw.Tday encourages island voyagers to choose their own adventure, priming guests to leave the shores of Negril awakened and rejuvenated. Irie Soul Program Director Stacy Chang-Christoforou has partnered with pivotal figures in wellness to ensure each guest receives opportunity to celebrate self love and embrace positive change through empowerment, spirituality, yoga and meditation.
