Food Connection LA is a Pop-Up Restaurant that seeks to offer Los Angeles foodies a Traditional Latin American food adventure. An exploration of food and culture offered once a month and that will feature renowned chefs from Latin America serving their most popular appetizers, entrees, and desserts with a prix-fixe menu in unique locations throughout LA.
On August 16th we will feature cuisine from Mexico’s Valle De Guadalupe by Chef Omar Armas. Enjoy a delicious 4-course Traditional dinner, beer and wine, live music and plenty of room to sit back, relax and indulge.
Meet the Chef Omar Armas
In the last 8 years he worked his way up from being a dishwasher at a pizzeria to becoming one of Mexico’s signature Chefs. After years of planning, sacrifice and hard work Omar opened his own restaurant in his hometown of Ensenada.
The name #Mantou means “Steamed Bun” in Mandarin and the concept is to use local market ingredients to make authentic recipes.
